PENGARUH PEMAPARAN Cd DAN Cu TERHADAP ABNORMALITAS SPERMATOZOA IKAN MAS (Cyprinus carpio, Linn) [The influence of Cd and Cu exposures to the abnormalities of common Carp (Cyprinus carpio, Linn) Sperm]

Abstract
To find the effect of heavy metals Cd or Cu to the abnormalities of common carp (Cyprinus carpio, Linn) sperm, Cd or Cu was exposed for 30 seconds to the fish semen obtained by stripping from matured fish in two seperated experiments. The abnormalities of sperm were 12.42; 22.00 and 32,67% for 25, 50 and 75 ppm of Cd, respectively and 15.50; 27.67 and 40.33% for 31, 62 and 93 ppm of Cu, respectively, compared to 2.83 - 3.33% in the control. The increase of 25 - 30 ppm in Cd or Cu content resulted in the increase of 10 - 12% of sperm abnormalities.
Abstrak
Suatu studi tentang pengaruh pemaparan Cd dan Cu terhadap abnormalitas spermatozoa ikan mas (Cyprinus carpio, Linn) telah dilakukan. Untuk melihat pengaruh pemaparan logam berat kadmium (Cd) dan tembaga (Cu) terhadap abnormalitas spermatozoa ikan mas (Cyprinus carpio, Linn) maka pada 2 percobaan terpisah telah dilakukan pemaparan logam berat kadmium (Cd) dan tembaga (Cu) terhadap semen ikan mas matang gonad. Hasil pemaparan menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata abnormalitas spermatozoa ikan mas menjadi 12,42; 22,00 dan 32,67% pada pemaparan dengan konsentrasi masing-masing 25, 50 dan 75 ppm Cd dan menjadi 15,50; 27,67 dan 40,33% pada pemaparan dengan masing-masing 31, 62 dan 93 ppm Cu selama 30 detik dibandingkan dengan abnormalitas pada semen segar sebesar 2,83 - 3,33%. Peningkatan kandungan Cd atau Cu menjadi 25 - 30 ppm di dalam air menyebabkan peningkatan abnormalitas spermatozoa sebesar 10 -12%.
