Aims and Scope

 Aims:

Jurnal Iktiologi Indonesia (Indonesian Journal of Ichthyology) aims to publish original research results on fishes (pisces) in fresh, brackish, and sea waters including biology, physiology, and ecology, and their application in the fields of fishing, aquaculture, fisheries management, and conservation.

Scope:

This journal publishes high-quality articles dedicated to all aspects of Aquaculture, Fish biodiversity, Fisheries management, Fish diseases, Fishery biotechnology, Molecular genetics, Fish health management, Fish biodiversity.

Publication Frequency

Jurnal Iktiologi Indonesia (JII) is published regularly three times a year (triannual), namely in February, June, and October.

Peer Review Process

Process of manuscript publication

1.

The manuscript can be accepted for publication after being reviewed by editorial board and outside reviewers through double-blind peer-review process
2. Author(s) should revise the manuscript according to the suggestion of editorial board and reviewers
3. The review process is conducted in blind review
4. The average number of weeks between article submission to publication, approximately 16 weeks
